Frequently asked questions
What is a tokenized stock?
A crypto token issued to track the price of a share, such as TSLA or NVDA. It trades on crypto exchanges, including on weekends and at night. It usually does not give shareholder rights such as voting; the exact terms depend on the issuer.
Why can I see a price when the stock market is closed?
US exchanges trade 9:30–16:00 ET on weekdays. Tokens and stock perpetuals keep trading on crypto exchanges around the clock, so their price moves with news outside market hours.
What is the “token median”?
For each stock we take the price on every tracked exchange that lists its token and use the middle value. One exchange with an odd price can’t move it much.
What is the “last close”?
The official close of the last regular session (16:00 ET, or 13:00 ET on early-close days). After-hours trades are not used.
Does the weekend move predict Monday’s open?
No. It shows what token traders are paying now. It can hint at the next open but is not a forecast, and thin trading can exaggerate it.
Can US residents buy stock tokens?
Usually not. Most exchanges that list stock tokens do not serve US persons, and some other countries are restricted too. Check eligibility on the exchange before signing up.
Why is a stock missing a price or marked “under review”?
When exchange prices disagree by too much, or data stops arriving, we hide the median instead of showing a misleading number. The page stays up and the number comes back once the data is consistent again.
Is STK24 investment advice?
No. STK24 shows prices for information only. Some “Trade” buttons are referral links; rankings are by price only.
